| Alisa Harmon, the director of the ever-expanding HARMONIZE, LLC, which includes the MFA franchises in Essex, Union, and Morris counties of New Jersey, lives in Montclair with her children. She is a professionally trained singer who has been teaching music to children since she was 14. When motherhood altered her career in banking, she recaptured her love for children's music and eventually started her own business as a licensee of Music for Aardvarks & Other Mammals. She now spends her mornings with babies, toddlers, and pre-schoolers who enjoy music that truly celebrates childhood. Her afternoons are filled with more singing as she modifies her music program for pre-schoolers with Autism and special needs in the Montclair Public Schools. Above all, her highest and greatest calling is that of mother to her amazing children: Tanner, Zoe, Eva, and a tiny angel baby, Liam, who now lives in heaven and watches and listens to Mommy singing lullabies. | ||
Kerry Anderson discovered her musical passion when she was just 7 years old. In high school, she sang in the concert choir, Madrigal choir, and Jazz choir. Kerry began writing music at the age of 15 and sang her own music at talent shows and choir concerts. In 1998, she was one of three students who made it to All-State. After high school, Kerry wrote songs and sang at coffee houses. In 2000, she moved to New Jersey and signed with a producer with Sony. In 2002, Kerry was selected to sing for the athletes in the Olympic Village at the Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City Utah. She was entertaining the people who were entertaining the world! Kerry began teaching Music for Aardvarks classes during the winter of 2003. She also performs at children's birthday parties. She is loved by all, and it seems that everyone knows her! We are blessed to have Kerry as a part of the Aardvarks family!

Matt Sisco: It was Jack Johnson’s acoustic soundtrack to the movie Curious George that was Matt’s first inspiration to pursue the performance of children’s music. Full of positive messages and character building themes, it allowed him to begin to understand the great potential that music can have for younger audiences. Matt strongly values the way that music can allow children to peer into the beauty of life; as well as its ability to effectively introduce the ideas and values that will help to shape them into healthy and harmonious human beings. Matt cherishes his time at Music for Aardvarks because it provides him a fun filled opportunity to embrace his love for music while enriching the lives and celebrating the childhood of each little listener in the room.
Currently, Matt is preparing to finish his B.A. in Studio Composition at SUNY Purchase and directly continue to complete his M.A. there after. In addition to the study of music, Matt plans to complete a graduate degree in Philosophy and hopes to greatly expand the field of the ‘Philosophy of Music’ with his research and activity.

David Weinstone, Creator/Composer, attended Berkeley College of Music before landing in New York City to pursure a career as a rock star. After playing the New York downtown club scene as a solo artist, he formed the punk-pop band Mozart's Grave in 1995 and was signed to Sol 3 Records. After the birth of his first son, David began writing and recording Aardvarks songs in response to the lack of "cool" children's music available. His songs reflected and celebrated the lives of children growing up in urban environments as well as themes universal to all children. Through strong word of mouth, Music for Aardvarks transformed from a fledgling local music program into an international phenomenon. David and his wife, Nicole, are the parents of three young sons, Ezra, Roman, and Milo, who inspire themes that make Aardvarks music so incredible.
